I led three consecutive Giving Tuesday campaigns featuring the Flourish community that raised $106,520.

To set Flourish apart in a crowded national landscape, I crafted clear, urgent calls to action rooted in the real experiences of our community. I conducted interviews with former guests, volunteers, and referring partners—transforming their words into powerful emails, social media content, and custom website pages. I also worked closely with the development team to segment donor lists, optimize giving platforms, and track campaign results.

These stories brought Flourish’s mission to life and helped people see the tangible impact of their generosity.

Video Storytelling

To bring our mission to life, I coordinated a series of Giving Tuesday videos featuring Flourish guests, volunteers, and partners. Working closely with local media professionals, I helped plan interviews, manage filming, and shape the narratives. In some cases, I edited the final clips myself using the footage provided. These videos were shared across platforms to inspire giving through authentic, emotional storytelling—and to put real faces to the impact of our work.

Written Interviews

To deepen connection with our community, I conducted and published long-form written interviews with Flourish donors, volunteers, and partner agency staff. These stories—shared on our blog and across social media—offered thoughtful insight into why people support our mission and the impact they’ve seen firsthand. Each interview helped humanize the work of Flourish and build trust through honest, meaningful storytelling.

Social Media Posts

I designed and wrote a series of Giving Tuesday social media posts to educate, inspire, and engage our community. These included infographics, impact charts, quotes, stories, and clear calls to action—each crafted to highlight Flourish’s unique impact and encourage donations. Through a thoughtful mix of content, I helped demystify Giving Tuesday, build momentum, and connect supporters to the real people their generosity helps.

Website

I built out a dedicated Giving Tuesday page on the Flourish website to serve as the central hub for our campaign. The page featured our donation form, custom infographics, and compelling stories that connected visitors directly to the impact of their support. In addition to encouraging financial gifts, I strategically promoted other ways to get involved—like volunteering or donating furniture—making the campaign inclusive, actionable, and deeply aligned with Flourish’s mission.

Fundraising Emails

For each Giving Tuesday campaign, I wrote and scheduled three distinct email appeals to go out throughout the day—morning, midday, and evening—strategically timed to align with moments when supporters were most likely to check their inboxes. Each message focused on a different facet of Flourish’s mission and offered a unique way to give, from financial contributions to furniture donations and volunteer opportunities. These targeted, story-driven emails helped drive urgency, deepen engagement, and boost overall giving throughout the day.
